Pretty Good in Life

Good Morning! I'm so motivated lately; I'm not sure where all this energy is coming from, but I'm loving it!

Mike and I have been home-bodies lately and it feels great. We've been having movie marathons..and been watching the NFL package we purchased (Thank God for the internet). Pampering ourselves. I've been playing around with makeup tips and blogs and trying new things. Trying to master our camera..its difficult at times..the settings are still confusing, but it's fun playing.. Now I wanna try a few new recipes.   Lately I've been enjoying just the fresh produce from the markets and I've been going to the bakery and butcher pretty often..Mike loves the Croissants and the Nutella. Lately I've been just eating the Salami with Cheese, fresh bread and apple slices..sounds weird but it's pretty divine.
ohh I bought the Burmese Quad from MAC..I love it!Isn't it pretty.

What a great day! Mike managed to finally get a day off, although it was kind of a spare minute decision on his boss's behalf, we had a simple, but joyful day. We made cookies and although the sun was shining we stayed in and watched movies and shows all day. Sex in the City II, The First 48,  The Jersey Shore, Weeds...These days don't happen often..now it's bedtime...goodnight and good weekend!

Studying should be my middle name.

Time to get down to work! My Vegas Chica's came and went with a bang. It was so nice having some days out with the girls, even the chill days were a blast! One left to Seattle and the other to LA to start the next stepping stone in their lives :) I have to admit I'm a little jealous they got to go back to the wonderful US of A. Seems like they had a blast in Europe. So many exciting things going on all around me. I'm hoping next week I can catch some more girly time with Janna. In the mean time...back to work! Hope everyone is having a fabulous week!

The days are cold.

It's been a while..
Just trying to stay focused. We managed to delete our Facebook (It was too big of a distraction); But we still have Myspace and Hyves..we'll see how it all works out :)

Mike's been working 7 days a week. I've been studying and cleaning. Our lives are really not that exciting at the moment, but it's been nice. My friends from Vegas will be staying with us this weekend..I'm really looking forward to it! Besides that and FOOTBALL..not a whole lot going on. I think my fiance Mike looks like Sam Bradford..what do you think?

Bliss

So I've started with the wedding plans..We've picked a date, but it's more then a year away, which I love. We've come down to two color schemes and looked at venues online..none of which we have agreed on yet, but when I'm back in Vancouver I may check them out. I never realized how fun this is. I can see how stressful it can be. Anyhow Mike and I have a pretty strict workout routine as it is..but now we just have to work on the diet. Can't wait to look gorgeous and play around with all the creative and fun ideas I have.

Today-doing some shopping, recycling (a big deal here in germany), cleaning, and most importantly studying.

This photo was taken years ago, by one of my best friends Kristine Billon on our trip to Spain. 

 Seems like just yesterday we started traveling! I think back and remember the delicious cafe con leche I sipped on every morning. The patatas bravas was about the only thing I really cared for (as far as Spanish food)..and well the Sangria and the Flamenco dancers too. I'm open to trying everything for the most part, but I couldn't seem to delight in the Spanish food. The cold tomato soup (gazpacho) made me almost vomit..sorry if you got a visual :)

Such a cultural adventure..the good and the bad. One of the coolest things I thought was Siesta..a pause in the middle of the day where businesses and schools were closed for a break with the family. So many wonderful memories :)

Paris Romance

We recently went to Paris. The streets were crawling with people; despite us staying out of the touristy areas. The skies were gray and it pretty much rained our whole entire trip. It didn't matter..everything was perfect. Mike and I got engaged and also celebrated my 27th birthday. Here are a few pictures of our wonderful weekend.
